-ne The car rental agent showed up with our truck, which was a good thing, as we didn’t have any way to contact them. We also wanted to get an extra set of keys for the rental unit, including the safe key which was missing.

Thu – Kids up at 20 minutes to 5. Fri – Straightened house. Sat – Stuffed turkey. Sun – Carol went to church with Greg. Stan & Mon – No school. Tue – At Dad’s. Wed – Went to town. 1970 Thu – No school. Fri – Opened presents about 9:15. Sat – Washed clothes. Sun – Put away boxes & Stan & I went to Woody’s for spaghetti. Stan & I went to Eastland. Mon – Stan home sick – cold. Tue – Went to Southland. Wed – Washed clothes. Thu – Kids helped clean house. 1971 Fri – Kids cleaned. Sat – X-mas. Sun – Fixed turkey. Mon – No school. Stan & I went to show. Tue – Elaine had car. Wed – Went to Zaire & Eastland Kids went to Conklins. Fri – Stan home. 1972 Sun – Made chicken soup for tomorrow. Carol & Jim came with presents. Mon – X-mas. Tue – Marion called. Wed – Kids fighting. Thu – Worked on business accounts & billings. Stan & Fri – Went to store. Sat – Washed clothes. Sun – Very warm. 1973 Mon – Washed clothes. Tue – Christmas. Stan took kids to Pap’s & Caroline’s. Wed – Trouble with truck. Thu – Slept late. Stan & I saw “The Way We Were”. Fri – Slept late. Played cards, Sat – Stan had to work. Sun – Slept late. Mon – Water man came (said “no water”). Stan tapped & Bill & Carol bought Peking Duck.
